If you are not familiar with this type of talks, they consist on 5 minutes presentations about any topic that you are interested in sharing with the community. Here you can submit your proposals, if you are interested in participating.

My talk

I will deliver a talk about challenges and lessons learned when adopting testing as part of the team culture. Below you can find the full abstract:

This session is about the different challenges that Claudia faced as a tester when her team started adopting testing as part of their team culture. During the session, Claudia will share what they have learned as a team from the testing perspective and also what other lessons, beyond testing, they have learned that helped them build a team culture.

Main Takeaways:
– Importance of having a testing culture: testing is a team responsibility
– Importance of building a team culture to drive and adopt changes
– How the role of the tester in an agile team has become that of a facilitator.
