Between the 25th and 29th of June, the first edition of Agile Testing Days USA will take place in Boston.
Activities and Schedule
During the week of the conference, there are many activities in different formats to both share and learn: tutorials, keynotes, talks, workshops, lean coffees, and open spaces.
On the first day, there will be various tutorials provided by world-class speakers. During the following two days, there will be six keynotes, lean coffees, and different talks and workshops with speakers from around the world. The conference’s last two days will include three workshops in parallel, each of them lasting two days.
The topics are very varied; they include agile testing, agile, devops, lean software testing, mob programming, management, leadership, storytelling, ux, heuristics, testing with developers, automation and performance, and many others.
I am very happy to be part of this first edition. I will deliver a talk on Testing as Part of the Team Culture, where I will share some of the actions my team took and the lessons we learned. The team is not only made up of testers; it also includes developers, visual designers, and technical writers.
5 Reasons Why You Should Attend the Conference
1. To get the chance to meet well-known speakers and learn from them.
2. Because it is an excellent place to learn. The two times I attended the conference in Potsdam, I came back with a lot of practical ideas that I then applied to my team.
3. Aside from tutorials, keynotes, talks, workshops, lean coffees and open spaces, fun activities are also encouraged in more relaxed environments.
4. There are great conversations among colleagues on the mentioned topics. It is also an awesome opportunity for networking.
5. The organization promotes and emphasizes the code of conduct.
